Educational Community:

The educational community matters to me because I am a student, and I have been for years as everyone else. We are educated from a very young age. From pre-school, kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high school, and college, we are a very civilized and a very educationally oriented society. School is mandatory for all children and we value intellect very highly. The most important things that I have gotten from the educational community, I think my literary skills, critical thinking skills, problem solving mechanisms, language skill, knowledge upon subjects like history, math, English, grammar, a sense of responsibility and the ability to function in our information based communities. I could not imagine how hard it would be to function without being educated. Without knowing how to read, simple math, and knowledge about history, I believe the knowledge of history has helped me appreciate where cultures derived from and has taught me to respect different cultures and religions backgrounds even if they are contrary or different of my own.

I get the knowledge in college I need in order to prepare myself for a career in Education. As time passes by and I explore my options I think that I am coming to a decision that I want to major in education. I want to share all my previous educational experiences and the education that I am learning with pupils. I know that I am just beginning and that I have a long journey to be educated in that field I want to pursue that field. Some of the issues from the educational community is that in respects to our global share of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics we are lacking teachers that have expertise in those fields. An article that I read stated that the areas of expertise in these fields were important because in “traditionally”, it has been the country’s technical talent that has driven industrial success. Basic science technology engineering and mathematics is tremendously important to the business world. So that the problem in education is the level of expertise many teachers lack. I think that in order to compete globally we have to further educate student, offer further studies more adamantly, and demand expertise more exclusively before hiring new faculty to schools.

Economy:

What primary role do you play in that community? The United States is the country I born raised, and am currently residing in, I intend to live here and raise my children here. Therefore I am a citizen, and I have the legal right as an American citizen and reap the benefits and also endure the state of the economy like any other person living in the country. I am currently living in New York State and am being affected by everything that is going on with the economy. I shop, live, use the transportation available whether it is the metro-north, the subway, an airplane, a car, or even a motorized scooter. The state of our economy affects the price of services, and necessities such as the price of gas for cars, rent, utilities, material things whether it be furniture, electronics, internet services, mortgage payments, purchases of anything material, payment of any kind of service. Childcare and the demand having to support a family brings. The ability to keep up with rising cost of things people need a job that they can rely on in order to keep up with price of things and job availability is vital to support people and allow them to live decent comfortable lives, or even to invest in the future of potential of creating business and helping people achieve the American dream or nay other pursuit of their choosing.

What are the most important things you get from that community? The most important things that I get from that community is that it is my home, it is where I live, where I rent, where I shop, where my family members live, where my child lives. Anything that affects my environment affects me sooner or later, in one way or another. There is a saying that we are a product of our environment. In more ways than one that is true. If the economy is in crises and there is a lack jobs or only part time , even low paying jobs available then how are we suppose to pay for the cost of living for ourselves and for anyone in our care. The cost of transportation, rent, utilities will raise regardless of the state of the economy and there needs to be more jobs created or benefits further extended in order to fulfill financial responsibilities. The problem with that is that it puts a strain on the economy further strain on the economy.
What are some of the problems, issues, or tensions in that community the intension to save New York state $250,000 toward multibillion dollar deficits. Issues of the economy because of the lack of funds to support people New York State workers received formal layoff in order to compensate New York with those funds.
According to a statistic I found  as of September 30, 2010, the "Total Public Debt Outstanding" of $13.56 trillion was approximately 94% of annual of $14.4 trillion, with the constituent parts of the "Debt held by the Public" being approximately 63% of GDP ($9.0 Trillion) and "Intergovernmental Debt" standing at 31% of GDP ($4.5 Trillion). Using figures from 2009, when compared with the public debt as percentage of GDP of other nations, the United States ranks 12th highest with a debt to GDP ratio of 86.1%, but when the "Debt held by the Public" figure is used for the U. S. public debt, the United States ranks 41st highest with a debt to GDP ratio of 53.5%. The terms of "Debt Held by the Public" and "Public Debt" are often used interchangeably, with much contention as to which is the true measure of government debt, yet what both measures share in common is that they both contain sovereign issued bonds backed by the Full Faith and Credit of the United States of America, with the differentiating factor being whether bonds held by "intergovernmental agencies" are included, or not. I think that in order to create more jobs and improve the economy deficit spending needs to be stopped and more pressure needs to be put on politicians to better assist the public as to finding work, Such as additional training in their field of work. I don’t think that taxing raises in order fix the deficit. The effort by Michael Bloomberg has seem to have worked in creating jobs.  New York’s mayor Michael Bloomberg has created private sector jobs in industries with salaries between 35,000, and 92,000. Middle class jobs in accounting, engineering, advertising, health care, retail, tourism even construction. I think that the government needs to intervene and help create more jobs. Bloomberg’s proposals are to instill confidence in the economy despite the trying times. Promote trade: Bloomberg says that the more trade done with foreign partners the more job markets created in the United States. Reform regulations for companies, andInvest in job training.
